- Man arrested after trying to use potato as a silencer. Apparently, the folk story that a potato will silence a pistol shot is widespread.
- Lady who found a grilled cheese sandwich with the image of the Virgin Mary, then auctioned it off on e-bay for $28,000 (plus another $6,000 for the skillet!), has now had the sandwich‘s image tattooed onto her right breast.

Which is good, because I needed something to distract me from the latest US-troops-get-barbaric allegation: Iraqis claim troops framed victim.
