Recent Bluessky Posts- So many fundraising texts begin, "You won't believe what" X said or did, followed by a URL promising to reveal whatever. Plonk. Either you think I'm a credulous idiot, or I indeed won't believe it, or I will, but in any case I'm not playing. August 15, 2026 Michael Froomkin

I agree wholeheartedly…the chief qualification for a moderator should be an inability to refrain from chuckling when appropriate, and Stewart’s the best at laughing at everyone in the wrong, regardless of party politics…if only GWB were more aware of the natural laugh track built into his speeches, who knows….
If nothing else, it would boost viewership. But I’d only support it if the debate ended with a “Back in Black” segment.
I hear ya, Mojo, but I doubt they could pull it off. I think Lewis Black is great, but if he listened to GWB in open debate his head would most likely explode before the second question.
