I’ve added three items to the left column:

A link to the military casualty count maintained by lunaville.org based on this methodology;
[Update: Just a link to, see comments for details] A chart of civilian casualties provided by iraqbodycount.org based on this methodology;
A dollar estimate of the cost of the war to the US from costofwar.com based on this methodology;

I have not personally checked these numbers, but they all look as if they are serious attempts to provide meaningful estimates [and in the case of the military data, a simple tally] of very gloomy data sets.

What version, platform and OS please? (I checked under win 98 with 5.5 and it seemed fine)

OK, I reproduced that horrible effect on IE6 under win xp pro. Until and unless they fix it, I've changed the ugly graphic to a mere link.
