Asking Works

The phone rang. “It’s Elizabeth Warren,” my wife said.

I assumed it was a recording.

It was not a recording. It was the candidate herself, charming and at once folksy and erudite, asking for help on her campaign.

How could I refuse?

    So what sort of help did she ask of a fellow law professor? I hope more than donations…
