- For ages MS Word has shown black bars when I select text--but only after waking from sleep. Restarting Word solves it, but if you have many docs open it is a pain. - Quantum computing, like fusion power, is always a few years away. The fusion horizon only very gradually shrinks, but timelines for useful QC are shrinking a lot faster. I thought Romney didn’t participate in the event over the weekend? This seems to have actually been a much bigger rebuke of Rick Perry than of anyone else. My understanding is that Perry spent considerable energy on this event and came in behind Caine and virtually tied with Romney (who, again, did not participate).
