The consequences are very serious, and he may be evicted.
That seems to be very common. Only the persistent get on disability. So, it’s not how bad you need it, it’s how much are you willing to go through to get it. Unfortunately it also seems that just makes it so that the people that really could do some form of work are the ones that succeed in getting the benefits.
