US House votes to deny all aid to Saudi Arabia (AFP)

We give aid to Saudi Arabia???? A tiny nation awash with petrodollars?

While oil-rich Saudi Arabia has never been a large recipient of US aid, the Bush administration channeled a total of more than 2.5 million dollars to the kingdom in fiscal 2005 and 2006 as part of their partnership in the war on terror, congressional officials said.

Oh. OK. It's walking around money.

Don’t we give money to hundreds of countries??? I’m still trying to figure out why on many of them.

Every dollar given to ruthless regimes could have helped us here. In 2001, Feema warned that a hurricane striking New Orleans was one of the most likely disasters in the U.S. But the Bush Adm. cut flood control funding by 44% to pay for the Iraq war.

The politicians of this nation are on a spending spree like a beverly hills teenager with her rich daddy’s american express card. Democrats and Republicans alike, they all spend your money on things like this and are never held accountable. If you ever hear a candidate for office say he will cut spending…vote for him.
