Note that in WW II the US stated that waterboarding was a war crime— when practiced on US troops by the Japanese.

So I guess this means that when he’s no longer vice-president and someone eventually wants him to confess to the war crimes he has committed he’ll find it acceptable to be questioned using the “waterboarding technique”?
