You know if this were Clinton, Gore or Kerry, the right-wing blogs and the radio (alleged) felons/drug abusers and the cable (alleged) sex perverts would be baying for an investigation. I still can't quite shake the feeling that this is much ado about nothing, but the strange thing is that the White House is acting guilty. A super-smart Rovian trick to distract? Is he that clever?

Easy: The White house’s enemies are expending a, yes, “bizzare” amount of effort trying to explain a bump in his suit, instead of doing something productive with their time. A back brace makes some sense, particularly considering GW’s posture. He may have the early symptoms of ankalosing spondylosis (sp?) or “Widow’s Hump” aka “Dowager’s Hump” and is using a brace to slow its advance. PhilTR
