House Narrowly Defeats Bailout Legislation.

IF Congress can now come up with something better, some good can come out of this.

But it’s a scary way to start the year.

OK. Now Congress can roll up their sleeves, and get to work. Hopefully the House leadership will try to hold hearings. Even though it is awfully short notice, I bet they can get some economists to show up and testify.
