Dear all,
I am Latin, or Hispanic, or whatever this minority is called nowadays. As a member of this minority, am I the only one who thinks that Gonzales is reafirming the already bad reputation that we have in the US?. Please note, not all of us are like him...
Posted by: Clemente Vivanco at July 25, 2007 11:02 PMDuly noted Mr. Vivanco. I don't think anyone who is watching judges Gonzales based on his ethnicity. We have seen so many people, really from the top to the bottom, testifying with similar approaches. Coming off, in their own words, as idiots.
What we have here has nothing to do with race or creed; it is something deeper. Some say it is a mindset, like a personality trait. I don't know, but Gonzo is not harming perceptions of Latino/Hispanic people.
