While Fidel Castro has been Cuba's head of state since the late 1950s, and has not been seriously contested as such for several decades, he recently ceded the reins of power for medical reasons.

What purpose would be served at this point by assasinating him in his hospital bed ?

What would be likely to happen if such an assasination was actually attempted? and what if it succeeded ?

Wouldn't ordinary Cubans perhaps think that the U.S.A was both carrying out a pointless murder and illegitemately meddling in Cuba's internal affairs ?

It is easy for you to point fingers at Ros-Lehtinen because you have no contact with this situation. Besides, it is obvious that this video was taken before he relinquished power. Who would assasinate a dictator who is not in power? Murderers deserve their just desserts. Castro has imprisoned, tortured, and murdered people in my family, merely for disagreeing with him. If he can't be subject to the death penalty for all the murders and crimes he has committed, he should be subject to death however it may come for him!

To assassinate a foreign leader? Is that what she is encouraging? First off, it does not make any sense to murder someone who is in a hospital bed, and also I can’t believe how a representative can even suggest something like this. Is this the WWW (wild, wild west)?

I'm surprised that a Law student would advocate vigilantism.
It's a contradictory postion for someone who will soon pledge to uphold the law.
More so for someone who has pledged to uphold the law as a Congressional Representative.

He advocated targeted assination of a Hitleresque dictator, not vigilantism generally. Don't hire him as your lawyer, and don't vote him into Congress.

Just curious, how does someone with such huge blog balls like yourself struggle through life having to constantly educate the (brain-dead) rest of us? Must be hard bearing so much responsiblity. Salute.

After seeing how materialistic and elitist a majority of Cubans are in Miami, it is no wonder Castro has maintained his power in Cuba. Do you think anyone in the working class wants to go back to the days where these elites are rubbing their money in their face?
