I guess I’m glad we used hospitals, although we experienced some problems there, yes indeed we did.
This story is tragic, but, ironically, it ends up romanticizing hospital birth. I am not a medical professional. But the one I have talked to at length about the birthing process has been present at many hospital births, and has truly scathing things to say about what happens there.
