This Sounds Scary

Bird flu has been identified in Greece, Italy and Bulgaria as well as Nigeria. Which means it’s Coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

Yikes.

    • Good news: "two doses of the vaccine [are] about 97% effective at preventing the disease if you are exposed to the virus.” Bad news: as best I can tell this is a per exposure measure, so if you're exposed to lots of measles, your chance of catching it goes up.
