Sticker Shock

The TSA screeners at SFO (San Francisco International Airport) are handing out these stickers to deserving young travelers.
Personally, I'm reminded of this poster:

Yesterday on my flight from MIA to MSP it took me all of 10 minutes to go from the front doors of MIA and through security including checking in and checking a bag. There was no additional security (other than being forced to take my shoses off). In the middle of my flight the woman next to me reaches into her purse and pulls out a container of...
...hand cream (gel form).
Posted by: DJB at August 12, 2006 12:17 PMI was in San Francisco for the great post-Lieberman-loss Republican crowing that the war on terrorism is winning, as evidenced by some non-military non-Iraq-realted police work by the Brits, and flew back to Columbia SC today and guess what, airtravel has officially increased in suckitude. I didn't want to check my carry-on bag so I purged my shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, perfume, creamy unguents, etc. only to find out that lip balm and stick deodorant constitute liquids and are also forbidden. You've been warned!
