Can the GOP find a would-be Senate candidate who would be even worse if elected than the hapless Sen. Martinez? Oh yes it can: Harris to challenge Nelson for Senate seat.

Recent Bluessky Posts- This one is very cheerful too, although I've been in remission long enough to realistically hope to never need it. Certainly sounds better than what I went through to get here. www.sciencedaily.com/releases/202... June 10, 2026 Michael Froomkin

Well, why not?
We in the GOP really owe her one.
We just said “we’ll make it worth your while” in 2000, so she’s a’comin ’round to collect her fee.
Senator is a pretty cushy job for most folks, with all the dinners, free vacations, and other perks, just like
James Madison woulda wanted.
There oughta be rich negative advertising possibilities for the democrats in this one. Think of a split-screen showing Katherine Harris on one side and punch-card ballot with a hanging chad on the other. Voice-over: “In 2000, Katherine Harris didn’t want to count your vote. Now she expects you to vote for her? …”
She can’t touch Nelso, imo. But it all depends on who’s gonna count the votes.
