One difference that I’ve not seen anyone stress yet is that CBS made their evidence available for scrutiny (at least they posted reproductions of the documents). This administration tries to hide everything.
One thing you forgot to put on the list, too: How much money did the Rather indiscretion cost CBS, and how much did Bush’s “indiscretion” in Iraq cost the US taxpayer?
But we can’t have no liberals because, why, then men would be marryin menfolk and Hollywood would be taking over (as quoted, with some elaboration by yours truly, from a Republican flyer distributed in W Va). Or, put differently, the factor we don’t take into account is that there are lots of folks who think that even an ape in a suit is acceptable for president so long as he is in the GOP.
