It’s a product of the Onion’s A.V. Club, but A.V. Club isn’t exclusively about parody; I fact-checked the first three items and they’re all real. I suspect the rest are too. (If you look at this week’s A.V. Club list — “We care a lot: 14 overblown charity/advocacy songs besides We Are The World” — all of those items seem real as well.)
Almost certainly real, and the comments are funnier than the article was.
