   All reporters and other visitors to Saddam’s Iraq were also “minded” by Saddam’s secret police, who were only interested in intimidating the people who dared to talk to the outsiders. Same thing goes on in North Korea and — as you say — it happened in the Soviet Union as well.

   When will the chocolate rations be increased?
