  1. Nope. Vote against the incumbent in all cases. If it is an open seat then pick your poison. Two election cycles of this and you will notice a distinct improvement in the governing process.

    Let’s get these worthless Republicans out of office. They are a disgrace. Anyone who is a Republican ought to be ashamed of themselves. Of course, Republicans only care about how much tax they pay, so they probably don’t care if the country is going down the toilet.

    That makes no sense whatsoever. What if the incumbant is doing a good job? Then you would vote them out? What motivation would the incumbant have to do anything positive for the nation if they knew they would be voted out of office just because they are the incumbant?

    Another way to look at the graph is that Kennedy was able to cut taxes because the national debt from WWII had finally been brought under sufficient control.

    If the national debt is allowed to continue to rise taxes will return to Eisenhower levels.
