New Florida Chief Justice is UM Graduate

Justice R. Fred Lewis, a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, will be the 52nd Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court.

And students say their career options are limited?

    I wonder if there is any way to find out just how many UM law graduates do end up in positions of authority? How many as partners in law firms, how many as judges, how many in power positions in government? It might be interesting to see, and perhaps put some student’s mind at ease about their future.

    Judging by the turnout at the homecoming game alumni reunion, it’s a fair number….
