Experts Agree! OLC Botched Work on Torture!

Legal Scholars Criticize Torture Memos notes a general consensus among expert readers that the Torture Memos were so one-sided as to be incompetent, misstated basic concepts of criminal law, and misread our international obligations.

But don’t worry, one of the lead authors is a court of appeals judge, and all the others still have their jobs! (At least until January.)

Hear that America? If you aren't a law professor you're not an "expert reader"! Since you don't understand what you read, you can't dream of formulating your own opinion. Leave it to them, the "experts".

Classic.

Dear MP,

The opinion of someone who is not a law professor: those responsible for the memos, including those who requested them, wrote them and passed them on, should be disbarred and defenestrated. OK now?

Eli-
I think its great that you read them and drew your own conclusions. No society can function under laws that can only be interpreted by technicians.
