  1. Ted says:

The nation owes more than thanks to three unlikely modern day patriots: professional poker player, musician, and retired attorney, Leo Donofrio; life long Democrat and former Pennsylvania assistant attorney general, Phil Berg; and Soviet emigree and attorney, Dr. Orly Taitz (she’s also a dentist).

While Mr. Donofrio painstakingly established the airtight case that BHO could not be an Article II “natural born citizen” (at BHO’s birth, dad was British/Kenyan, not American, citizen) Leo’s Stay of the 12/15/08 electoral college vote was denied by SCOTUS as procedurally unripe.

Nevertheless, since no congressman and senator objected on 1/8/09 to Congress’ count and certification of the electoral vote which would have turned resolution of Obama’s eligibility issue over to Congress — rendering moot the Berg and Taitz (Lightfoot) cases — Berg finally does achieve standing on the issue of actual harm, to be addressed at the Friday 1/9/09 SCOTUS Conference on Writ of Certiorari. Obama’s failure to submit evidence of his constitutional qualification for the 1/9/09 conference will mean he cannot thereafter challenge Berg’s request to enjoin the 1/8/09 Congressional electoral count and certification, albeit retroactive, scheduled for SCOTUS conference Friday 1/16/09. Moreover, Chief Justice Roberts has scheduled a full Court conference on the Lightfoot case Friday 1/23/09 in the event there needs to be a Constitutionally mandated action, the Inauguration itself, to enjoin retroactively.

Now that BHO is in checkmate and cannot be POTUS, he can be a patriot as well. He need not subject the nation to the expense and trauma of requiring SCOTUS to overrule his ‘Presidency’. BHO can and should voluntarily step down with Biden becoming Acting POTUS under the 20th Amendment, and under the agreement all potential claims by the Government for itself and on behalf of others against BHO are released.

For the record, again, Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii, after it became a state, making him a “natural born citizen” under any definition of the term. Any person born in a US state is a ‘natural born citizen’ and eligible to be President, regardless of who their parents are. Even if both their parents are tourists, or undocumented aliens, if they’re born here, they’re US citizens by birthright. End of story.

It’s interesting that there seem to be some people who cannot accept this well-documented fact about Mr. Obama.

  3. LACJ says:

Wow the insanity is proving to be deeper than most thought.

I am seriously afraid we are only getting started. The whack jobs are losing it en masse, and it will not be pretty.

  4. LACJ says:

Oh and its a good thing Dr. Orly (Orally, how did I miss this?) Taitz is also a dentist, because the wingnut welfare is drying up.

Notice that? Not too many wingnut bucks went into this legal defense. THIS is a true conservative grass roots movement.

  5. Joe1 says:

ted, is it too much to ask that you comment on the fact that John McCain was born in panama before Congress passed a law defining the citizenship of babies born outside of the US whose parents were members of the military? John McCain could not be president, even if elected, because he was not born in the US. End of discussion.

Obama worshipers do the American public a profound disservice by exacerbating the failure of the media to thoroughly vet Obama. Certificate-gate pales in comparison to Wright-gate and Ayers-gate.

But the Obamatons hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. History will not judge them well.

Its a shame that Froomkin, as a law professor, has said absolutely nothing about the fact that Biden admitted plagiarizing in law school:
    http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9B0DE3DB143FF93BA2575AC0A961948260

Froomkin is in a unique position to appreciate the profound manner in which Biden’s behavior reveals despicable character. The general public, even non-legal graduate students, probably cannot appreciate how atrocious plagiarism is for a law student. (Or maybe UM Law, as a third tier school, has lower standards, I don’t know. Sure would explain a lot.)

And now we have Obama appointing a CIA chief with absolutely no intelligence experience. A secretary of state with absolutely no foreign policy experience, who LIED about coming under sniper fire in a campaign (yet somehow came in a close second-place because the typical democrat voter doesn’t mind being lied to…as long as you apologize).

I guess the Obamatons only care about which breed of dog Obama “appoints” to poop on the White House lawn. But hey, I can’t wait to buy a piece of that dog’s poop on ebay!

  7. michael says:

At this point, the statute of limitations, both actual and moral, has passed on Biden’s decades-ago law school career. I really don’t think it matters today, so I haven’t taken the trouble to figure out the facts. I would note, however, that the New York Times reported in ’89 that Biden was cleared of the plagiarism allegation by a bar panel (or some such). I have become convinced that the great Kinnock scandal was a tempest in a tea pot; it seems he’d given the speech before, a few times, and always credited Kinnock appropriately, but on the day in question he left out a paragraph when he re-read the speech. That’s the sort of screw-up I can see happening to many people. Stupid, but not venal.

For what little it’s worth, I think Obama’s pick for the CIA was a very good one. It was essential to have someone with clean hands. That let out all the so-called “experienced” candidates. Many CIA directors, maybe half, have not had operations experience. And this guy has extensive experience with consuming intelligence, which means he’ll understand the client’s perspective. That’s valuable. And as far as the CIA guys not liking it, they should just stop whining. Other agencies’ staff don’t get to pick their bosses, and neither do they.

I am somewhat less persuaded by the wisdom of appointing Sen. Clinton to be Secretary of State. I think Clinton has been a very good Senator, but do not think there is any evidence to suggest that Ms. Clinton is a good manager, and considerable evidence that suggests she is not. There’s not much evidence as to whether she’s much a thinker on foreign affairs either, and what little we know suggests a conventional and somewhat bellicose approach, but I suppose one could hope for a nice surprise.

  8. LACJ says:

It is just amazing. What is wrong with these people!

Where the heck were these (obviously psychotic) people when Foggo was given the number three job at the CIA? Hint: He was a low level schmuck! But oh, no, when the glorious leader Bush does it, it must be ok.

Panetta has considerably more experience than Foggo did, having worked at the highest levels of the Clinton admin.

Rice as Sec of State? Zero foreign policy experience prior to joining the Bush admin! Must less experience than Clinton, a sitting Senator!

We watched for eight &^%*@#%^ years while all these idiots told us not to question the President! That’s treason you see!

But oh my god!! The Obamafascististss are like the borg!! Their doin it wrong~!1!!!1

Medication. zombie and Ted, you need medication. If none is handy, may I suggest starting with household cleaners and working your way up?
