Where I’m Going

I'm going to have another little burst of travel: Saturday I'll be leaving for the Durham, NC area to drop off a camper (the two-legged, not the four-wheeled, sort), Monday I'll go on to Toronto to spend a packed work-week in a room with other members of the ICANN NomCom.

The NomCom's proceedings are covered by promises of confidentiality, so I won't be blogging about them — and if the meetings run late, which they likely will, I many not be blogging about much else next week either.

After that, it's back home for the rest of the summer.

PS. No substantive posts today because I spent the WHOLE DAY in a meeting (but not about ICANN).

If you want post (or email) what part of Toronto (intersection) you’ll be stuck in for the meetings. I can provide you with a list of whats good in the area (more by popular consensus of friends not just me). Let me know what food types you’d be looking for, Toronto is great for food.

Thank you for the offer. Alas, we’re heavily scheduled, even the dinners are working events, and I have basically no time to myself from Monday night to Friday’s departure.

I reminds me of my days as a London-based international lawyer, when I used to say that I was getting a great tour of the conference rooms of Europe.

Dood, I’ll be in Durham Sunday for the same reason!

A *week*? This used to be a one-week-end thing in the past…

Three days plus travel days. There are a *lot* of good candidates.
